Perfect vacation - trip of a lifetime
When CDV say they do things differently to other tour groups and that they treat you like family, that's exactly what they do.

I recently went on Culture Discovery's 7-day Norcia vacation. In a word, it was SUPERB. I had been attracted by the reviews online but had wondered if all the superlatives could really be true. They certainly were! I had travelled a long way for it, all the way from New Zealand in fact, but I'd do it again in a heartbeat.
From our most extraordinary guide Luigi to Roberto who taught us how to cook, all the fabulous places we visited, the magnificent meals we ate every single day, to our luxury accommodation and all the wonderful staff at Norcia, we were spoilt from start to finish. To top it all off, our group of 7 was the most wonderful company I could possibly have asked for. I can't remember when I laughed so much. Every day was a new adventure! We were exceptionally lucky to have Luigi take the tour - he is actually a restauranteur and only does a handful of these tours. So if you get a chance to take a tour with him, don't even hesitate. Just do it!
And finally, I had been somewhat hesitant about travelling on my own - I needn't have been. It was, quite simply, the most fabulous vacation. When CDV say they do things differently to other tour groups and that they treat you like family, that's exactly what they do. Thank you Luigi, thank you my fellow vacationers, and thank you CDV!
